Job Title: Attorney Litigation Specialist

The Law Office of Miles Franklin, LLC is seeking a skilled attorney with expertise in family law and litigation to join our team. Located in Stafford, Virginia, we serve clients in matters concerning family law, estate planning, and veterans' rights in Stafford, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Fairfax, and Prince William counties and cities.

We are offering an estimated annual salary of $85,000 for this role. The successful candidate will have minimum 1-2 years of litigation experience, be licensed to practice law in Virginia, and possess a strong foundation in legal research using Lexis-Nexis and/or Westlaw. Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting thorough legal analysis is also required. Familiarity with estate planning and veteran disability compensation matters is a plus. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.

Job Responsibilities:
* Conduct legal research and analysis to inform case strategy and prepare legal documents
* Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
* Litigate cases in court, including trial and appeals
* Manage and maintain accurate case records and files
* Utilize Lexis-Nexis and/or other legal databases to stay current with changing laws and regulations
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and court orders
* Provide excellent customer service to clients and respond promptly to their inquiries

Qualifications:
* Minimum of 1-2 years of litigation experience
* Licensed to practice law in Virginia
* Strong foundation in legal research using Lexis-Nexis and/or Westlaw
* Proficient in drafting legal documents and conducting thorough legal analysis
* Experience in family law and litigation
* Familiarity with estate planning and veteran disability compensation matters is a plus
