Job Overview

AWP Safety is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Relations Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter high volumes of data into our systems for billing purposes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Make adjustments and handle billing discrepancies and rejections in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Validate, verify, and compare contract agreements as needed to ensure compliance.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for our customers.
  • Support the team in securing timely payments from customers.
  • Act as a resource for other functions within AWP, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Answer phones and respond to inquiries using a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Provide general office support and peer training as requested.
  • Comply with all AWP policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of data entry or relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and basic knowledge of accounting principles and terminology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outgoing and assertive personality, with the ability to approach individuals and provide guidance and support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word).
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role is primarily sedentary, with occasional lifting and moving of pounds. The employee must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position, which include working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with customers and colleagues.
