We are seeking a dedicated Microvascular Hand Surgeon to join our esteemed medical practice in a full-time, permanent capacity. This role is ideal for a professional with a keen interest in both academic pursuits and trauma care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in traditional inpatient and outpatient services, addressing elective, urgent, and emergent cases for plastic and hand patients.
- Contribute to the Department of Surgery as a faculty member, providing teaching and mentorship to residents.
- Participate in on-call coverage, ensuring comprehensive patient management.
- Work closely with a robust trauma team at a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Plastic Surgery residency, with board certification or eligibility preferred.
- Board certification and/or eligibility in Hand Surgery, with a focus on teamwork in patient management.
- Experience with tissue microvascular procedures, including breast and burn surgeries.
