Responsibilities:- Conduct medical screenings and phlebotomy procedures on donors, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and company policies.
- Review donor laboratory test results and refer any abnormalities to the physician for review.
- Provide medical oversight in screening, phlebotomy, and plasma processing areas, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with the Medical Director or Licensed Center Physician(s) to make decisions impacting donor suitability.
- Train and educate other staff members on medical procedures and protocols.
- Current LPN license in the state where the Donor Center is located.
- Proof of graduation from a recognized educational program for healthcare workers, including clinical training.
- Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interpret medical information and formulate appropriate actions.
- Availability to work extended shifts, weekends, and holidays.
