Job Summary:
ResCare Community Living is looking for a compassionate and dependable individual to join their team as a Direct Support Professional. As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in providing support to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to live independently and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
• Performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
• Assisting with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
• Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
• Encouraging self-help activities
• Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments

Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
• Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external
