Facility Operator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facility Operator to join our team at Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions, Inc. in Catoosa, OK.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our facility, ensuring the production of high-quality asphalt binder, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with testing products in the lab and input quality specifications and batch data into reports
  • Sample product quality and conduct minor maintenance on equipment in the plant
  • Attend and participate in daily production/quality/EHS meetings and ensure good facility housekeeping
  • Utilize proactive tools to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Effectively communicate with fellow operators, management, and customers to meet needs
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Excel (preferred)
  • Ability to work without supervision and read and follow written instructions
  • Basic math skills and ability to learn computer skills
  • Able to lift 50 pounds with assistance and perform jobs that involve lifting, bending, and climbing tanks and other structures
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work days and hours as scheduled, Monday through Sunday
