About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on the Surgical Floor at Penrose Hospital. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing team in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Conduct vital signs, monitor patient conditions, and report any changes to the nursing team
  • Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and other patient care activities
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements
  • Current CNA certification in the state of Colorado
  • 6 months of previous CNA experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
