As the foremost community mental health provider in Florida, we specialize in Child and Adolescent Programs, catering to a diverse outpatient population. Our services include Behavior Analysis, Targeted Case Management, Day Treatment, and Outpatient Therapy, supported by a 30-bed inpatient facility. We have recently achieved the Platinum designation from Optum for our exemplary inpatient care, as recognized by their Achievements in Clinical Excellence (ACE) program. Our treatment philosophy emphasizes a holistic perspective, a collaborative team approach, eclectic treatment methods, and active involvement of patients and their families.

Position Highlights:

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, either Board Certified or Board Eligible (including new graduates), to join our established practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a well-respected team.

  • Outpatient clinic hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • On-call responsibilities include every fourth weekend and night.
  • Clinical supervision opportunities for other healthcare disciplines.
  • Average patient load of 25-30 per day, combining inpatient and outpatient visits.
  • Focus on children and adolescents up to age 18, with a patient demographic of 50% children, 40% adolescents, and 10% adults associated with child patients.
  • Recognized as a Platinum Status Facility by Optum.

Job Requirements:

  • Full-time, employed position.
  • ABMS/AOA Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is required.
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
  • A Florida medical license is necessary.
  • Experience is preferred, but new fellowship candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit are essential.
  • Participation in the Physician Governance Council to influence strategic planning and operational policies.
