Pediatric Sonographer

At Children's Hospital & Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Ultrasonographer to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the exceptional patient experience we strive to deliver.

• Perform routine ultrasound examinations as requested by physicians to facilitate diagnosis, adhering to department procedure manuals and initial patient assessments.
• Prepare patients and families for exams, educating them on the process and addressing their concerns in a caring and professional manner.
• Process sonographic images, evaluating them for technical quality and preparing films for interpretation by radiologists.
• Maintain department logs of exams performed for teaching file purposes and ensure accurate recording of patient data.
• Provide exceptional service to patients and families, exceeding their expectations in terms of care and compassion.

• Associate's Degree from an accredited AMA-approved school of Sonography or within 6 months of graduating.
• A.R.D.M.S. or board eligibility, with registry passing within 1 year.
• Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
• Additional certifications in Abdomen and Vascular preferred.
