We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA/OH. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Neuromodulation Pain and Target Drug Delivery Therapies in the areas of surgical coverage, follow-up support, troubleshooting, customer service, and education.
Key Responsibilities- Represent Medtronic during surgical procedures by ensuring access to necessary equipment and products.
- Manage patients through all phases of the clinical process and educate them on Medtronic products.
- Provide clinical support in surgeries, re-programmings, trouble-shooting, and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to technical inquiries from customers, patients, and colleagues.
- Maintain a working knowledge of competitive products and educate physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters.
- Assist in the education and training of new employees in the district.
- Comply with required event reporting and documentation using Medtronic technology tools.
- Accountable for managing inventory and ordering products as needed.
- Contribute to the achievement of quarterly goals associated with specific initiatives.
- Partner with sales representatives to achieve business goals and document activities using provided business tools.
- Minimum 6 years of clinical or medical sales experience or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent.
- Registered nurse or HCP with experience in a sterile environment.
- Clinical experience with implantable neurological products and patient care.
- Experience in servicing medical personnel on product use.
- Experience with a medical device company or pharmaceutical company and clinical experience in a specialty area.
