Position Overview:

Working Hours: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Days Off: Sundays and Tuesdays

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing load sheets for delivery routes and ensuring accurate products and quantities are loaded onto designated trailers.
  • Rotating products in the warehouse to guarantee that the correct coded items are shipped, minimizing waste and returns.
  • Continuously inspecting for and removing damaged goods to ensure only quality products are dispatched to customers.
  • Loading products according to specified diagrams using various motorized equipment, ensuring proper load bars are in place and loads are evenly distributed.
  • Sending accurate loads while maintaining an efficient pace.
  • Identifying and selecting inventory for loading and staging based on customer load sheets, which may involve handling products weighing up to 200 lbs.
  • Unloading trucks and trailers, which may involve physical labor, including pushing and pulling heavy cases.
  • Manually removing products from conveyor systems and packaging or staging them efficiently to maintain production flow.
  • Disposing of returned products through manual dumping into disposal systems.
  • Washing trailers and trucks after unloading.
  • Collaborating effectively with managers, supervisors, and colleagues.

General Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, demonstrating knowledge of safety protocols.
  • Executing assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Being available for required overtime to support business needs.
  • Completing assigned duties satisfactorily and promptly.
  • Following Good Manufacturing Practices in all tasks.
  • Actively participating in special teams representing the warehouse department.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • GED or High School Diploma preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing (English) and the ability to identify colors.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Capability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
