Job Overview

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Broomes Island, Maryland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
  • Continually assess and revise the speech therapy care plan, participating with BAYADA clinicians in the multidisciplinary care plan as necessary.
  • Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives in rehabilitative care and activities essential for promoting health, safety, and independent living.
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to patient care management and services provided using state-of-the-art touch pad tablets.
Requirements:
  • A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
  • The equivalent educational requirements, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, and work experience necessary for such a certificate, and be awaiting the opportunity to take the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association examination for certification.
  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer an estimated annual salary of $125,000, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, vision, dental and medical health plans, employer-paid life insurance, 401k with company match, direct deposit, and employee assistance program.
