About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Amedisys, a leading provider of home health and hospice care. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping patients overcome communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
  • Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and develop augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the state where you will be working.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Preferred: One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology.
