We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including restocking shelves and sweeping floors
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
