POSITION SUMMARY:

As a vital member of the clinical team, you will conduct thorough Behavioral Health assessments and evaluations, providing essential recommendations for patient care in emergency settings. Your role will involve coordinating health services across various environments, including hospitals and community settings.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver Behavioral Health assessments and crisis intervention for psychiatric patients in emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians and psychiatrists to formulate care recommendations for psychiatric patients.
  • Document and recommend psychiatric care plans for patients in emergency departments.
  • Provide ongoing updates to the emergency department team regarding the implementation of care plans.
  • Guide Crisis Intervention Associates in their roles.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues about the care plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in Social Work or Counseling.
  • Current LCSW-C or LCPC licensure.
