At KPMG, we're seeking a talented Senior Associate to join our dynamic Mergers & Acquisitions practice. As a key member of our team, you'll advise clients on a wide range of corporate and partnership tax services, from planning and research to due diligence and tax structuring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on complex partnership transactions, including buy-side and sell-side acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, and restructurings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality tax services and communicate findings to clients
  • Assist with going public transactions, such as IPOs and de-SPACs, and take private transactions of companies operating in Umbrella Partnership C-Corporation structures
  • Help review and remediate deficiencies in historical partnership allocations, basis adjustments, and capital accounts
  • Advise clients on renewable energy transactions, including tax equity partnerships and tax credit sales
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of experience in federal tax and/or mergers and acquisitions in a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm
  • Bachelor's degree in taxation, or Master's in taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and partnership tax matters in various industries
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
  • Excellent modeling, research, and writing skills
