We are a leading manufacturer of metal products, seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Assistant - Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team.

**Estimated Salary:** $40,000 - $60,000 per year

**Job Description:** The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the fabrication of sheet metal parts according to shop specifications. This involves operating hand tools, power tools, and simple shop equipment as directed by supervisors or team leads.

**Key Responsibilities:)

  • Assist with preparation and fabrication of sheet metal parts, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards.
  • Support MIG welding operations, providing assistance as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment, ensuring optimal performance.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic mechanical skills, including operation of hand tools and power tools.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Physical stamina, able to stand for extended periods and lift materials.
  • Willingness to learn, openness to training and new tasks.
  • Time management skills, prioritizing tasks to meet production timelines.
  • Teamwork, effective communication with supervisors and team members.
  • Safety awareness, commitment to following safety protocols.
