Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker Journeyman to join our team at Wood Group USA, Inc. as a key member of our manufacturing operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Locate and mark reference points for columns or plates on foundation using master straight edge, squares, transit, and measuring tape.
  • Apply knowledge of geometry to ensure accurate measurements and placements.
  • Attach rigging or signal crane operators to lift components to specified positions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of manufacturing procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Boilermaker Journeyman with a strong background in manufacturing operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of geometry and measurement techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
