The Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston is seeking a dedicated RN Scrub Nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role involves working in a dynamic environment focused on ophthalmic surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in ophthalmic ambulatory and day surgery operations.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and assist in the preparation of surgical instruments.
Work Schedule:
Varied days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of Massachusetts.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience is required.
- Experience as an OR Circulator is advantageous.
- Prior experience in ophthalmology is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
The role demands frequent physical activity, including:
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling various weights.
- Mobility tasks such as walking, standing, and bending for extended periods.
- Ability to manipulate small surgical instruments with precision.
