Job Summary

Prime, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Trailer Inspector/Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical compliance of our trailers with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of trailers entering and exiting our yard to ensure they meet DOT standards.
  • Inspect tires, lights, and other exterior components for safe operating conditions.
  • Verify the integrity of trailers arriving from Mexico for damage and/or mechanical defects.
  • Manage the timely and authorized entrance to and departure of equipment.
  • Refuel equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Industrial experience preferred.
  • Strong work history and ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
Working Conditions

This position requires constant standing, frequent walking, and exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors.

Licensing/Certification

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
