Registered Dietitian

We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team at Holy Redeemer Meadowbrook. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in identifying and assessing the nutritional needs of our patients/residents, initiating interventions to achieve and/or maintain their nutritional status, and enhancing their quality of life consistent with their goals.

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem-solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field.
• Experience working in healthcare or long-term care.
