About the Role

The CFO will lead a small team of finance professionals, collaborating closely with the Director of Grants Management & Compliance to enhance financial systems and processes.

We are looking for a people-first leader who motivates and inspires their teams, aligning with our organizational norms and culture. The ideal candidate will have experience working in nonprofit organizations, preferably in legal aid, and possess expertise in nonprofit accounting, grantmaking, and union management.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy to support organizational growth
  2. Improve financial reporting and analysis to inform business decisions
  3. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices

The salary range for this role is $150,000 – 180,000. This position is based at the EPIP office in Los Angeles, California, with two-to-three days in-office each week.
