About the Job

Rising Star Resource Development Corporation, a leading provider of supported and integrated employment, is seeking an experienced and skilled Floor Technician to join our team. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our client sites, ensuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning functions in assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting bathrooms and other general cleaning tasks.
  • Operate carpet extractors and apply floor finishes and sealants as needed.
  • Manage and operate special floor care services to grow and expand our services.
  • Report and capture quality assurance/control procedures using a smartphone.
  • Lead and support other special projects as assigned, including professional window washing services, high-pressure concrete washing, and intensive cleaning.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in janitorial and/or floor care.
  • Knowledge of chemicals associated with floor care.
  • Proficiency in writing and speaking English.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to lead, train, and give directions to others.
  • Reliable, punctual, and presentable.
  • Driver's license in good standing.
Work Environment

Our Floor Technicians work in various contract locations within the DFW area, with a majority of contracts located downtown. Services are performed on-site, with day and evening shifts available.

Compensation

This is an hourly position, with a wage range of $22.47 per hour.
