Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team at Iron EagleX. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans and strategies to ensure the quality and functionality of complex systems and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans and strategies to ensure the quality and functionality of complex systems and software.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Lead test automation efforts to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Develop and institute automated software testing to perform system tests, regression testing, and performance testing.
  • Engineer and implement solutions for problems or software enhancements as required to augment the development team during surge periods.
  • Work closely with the DCGS-SOF solutions architect, systems engineers, database administrators, and other software engineers in developing and integrating software solutions into the DCGS-SOF baseline.
  • Develop and perform peer reviews of user manuals and other required documentation supporting the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in Scrum meetings and sprint planning.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience with Python, JAVA, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • 8+ years of experience performing Software Quality Assurance (SQA).
  • 8+ years of experience with software design, development, integration, and testing with expertise in Zephyr, QTest, or Azure DevTest Lab.
  • Strong skills using Selenium.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience working with the J2EE modern microservice, data analytics application architecture.
  • Experience working with database administration and design.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills; effective listening skills and follow through.
  • Ability to independently and as a member of a team resolve software problems.
  • Detail oriented and organized; able to drive solutions using the software development life cycle.
  • Team player able to work with a project manager, solutions architect, other developers, and customers.
  • Cloud (AWS, Azure), Python, Java, SQL, NOSQL database expertise.
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT curriculum and 8 plus years of experience; or Master's and 2 years of experience; 20 years' experience can be used in lieu of Education.
  • Security+ Certification.
Security Clearance

Secret Clearance is REQUIRED (with a willingness to get a Top Secret Clearance).
