Pharmacist - Pittsburgh

Our Graduate Pharmacists play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a service-oriented pharmacy team. They build strong relationships with patients by exceeding their needs and providing safe, accurate, and efficient care.
Job Responsibilities- Perform all supporting duties to contribute to the safe and efficient dispensing of patient orders by following quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Model excellent patient care by respecting, engaging, and enthusiastically meeting or exceeding patient needs, including counseling and problem-solving.
- Adhere to company, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.
- Maintain a neat and sterile work environment to ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal government requirements.
- Review service and business metrics and assist the team in developing action plans to improve outcomes.
- Maintain proper inventory levels by submitting online orders, adding and adjusting order points, quantities, and on-hand counts in the computer, and submitting orders to outside vendors for products and supplies.
- Assist the manager in preparing physical inventories and providing an optimal team and patient experience by proper delegation of work assignments and efficient use of supplies and equipment.
- Assist in mentoring and training new team members in the pharmacy.
- Plan and assist in executing store/community outreach programs that improve the patient experience.
- Communicate current events or alerts/changes with the practice of pharmacy to the team.
- Complete all necessary daily and weekly reports, process required forms and documents, and communicate any further coaching or training needed to the manager.
