We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. This is a wonderful opportunity for a Psychologist who is passionate about working with children. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution and be licensed to practice in Michigan.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine students' academic, behavioral, emotional, and social strengths and needs.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to improve students' academic and social-emotional functioning.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create positive learning environments and support student success.
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to students as needed.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote positive behavior support, mental health awareness, and academic achievement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all services provided.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Active Michigan State School Psychologist License or eligibility for licensure.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for assessment, intervention, and consultation in schools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
