Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting, utilizing various interventions and techniques to promote independence and skill development.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and fellow therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote students' physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, including progress notes and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • OT licensure and a minimum of 1+ years of occupational therapy experience.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of various occupational therapy interventions and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, parents, and fellow therapists.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions.
