Laborer Associate

Midlands Contracting is seeking a skilled and reliable Laborer Associate to join our team in Kearney, NE. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing manual labor tasks outside in various weather conditions.
About the Role:
We offer competitive pay ranging from $22-$24 per hour, depending on experience. You can expect to work 50 hours or more per week, with most projects requiring travel Monday through Friday. Don't worry about weekend work, as we ensure you have time off to rest. When working out of town, we provide transportation from Kearney, NE, paid travel time, hotel accommodations, and a nightly per diem for meals when working over 60 miles away from Kearney. We also offer year-round employment, ensuring stability throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
This role requires you to work in fast-paced environments, confined spaces like manholes, and high-traffic areas while maintaining focus. You'll need to verify measurements, read machine gauges, perform routine maintenance, and lift up to 50 pounds individually or as part of a team. You'll also operate heavy equipment according to your skill level and training. Safety is our top priority; you'll receive safety training on the job and through formal training sessions. A valid driver's license and excellent driving record are preferred but not required. Finally, you must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be authorized to work in the U.S.
