We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Kansas Employer. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality diagnostic imaging services for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare patients and equipment for radiology procedures, perform tests, and maintain equipment.
- Explain procedures to patients, position patients and equipment, perform examinations, develop film, and maintain and operate specialized radiologic equipment.
- Complete patient intake process, take patient histories, and prepare and educate patients about imaging procedures.
- Review patient charts and doctor's notes before examinations and maintain patient records during and after procedures.
- Position patients and equipment to capture correct areas and produce clear images.
- Monitor patients and ensure their safety during imaging procedures.
- Calibrate equipment to ensure clear, usable images are taken of the correct area as specified by the doctor.
- Log and organize image results, develop film, assist with interpretation of radiograph results, and consult with radiologists to determine if additional images are needed.
- Ensure proper sterilization and storage of equipment, maintain radiographic equipment, and report any equipment failures.
- Coordinate with radiology department to schedule and complete radiographic procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current radiology practices.
