About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Raleigh Oaks Behavioral Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients on our night shift. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized care plans for patients, ensuring their physical and behavioral health needs are met.
  • Provide and coordinate care by assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Supervise and educate patients and their families on various health conditions, promoting patient safety and empowerment.
  • Administer medications accurately and document patient responses.
  • Monitor patient acuity, census, and staffing needs, making arrangements for coverage as needed.
  • Participate in unit activities, such as therapy groups, family meetings, and staffing, to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
  • One or more years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environments.
  • Valid current RN license from the state or a compact state, where applicable.
  • Certified in Psychiatric Nursing preferred.
  • CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
