Audiologist - Serving Veterans in GA

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at Clay Consulting LLC. As a medical disability examiner, you will play a critical role in supporting the Veteran Benefits Administration by conducting thorough audiological examinations and providing expert medical opinions.
Your Role as a ProviderAs an Audiologist with Clay Consulting, you will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing audiological conditions, gathering and synthesizing clinical evidence, and developing medical opinions on the likelihood of a Veteran's condition being related to their military service. Your timely and expert examinations will ensure that Veterans' claims are heard and processed efficiently.
Job Duties- Provide Compensation & Pension (C&P) services to Veterans, including health histories, assessments, and diagnostic testing.
- Utilize assessment and evaluation to render medical diagnoses and opinions.
- Prepare timely, unbiased, and complete documentation of all Veteran care as required by law, regulation, and established policy.
- Apply safety principles as identified by established policy.
- Participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date on current technologies and practices.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Exhibit a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with Veterans, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adjust to fluctuating volume while maintaining quality, timeliness, and customer service.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Doctorate Degree in Audiology (AuD), Master's of Audiology (M.A.), Master's of Science Degree in Audiology (M.S.), Audiology of Speech Language Pathology Degree (PHD), Master's in Communication Disorders (MCD), or Doctor of Education in Audiology (Ed.D).
- An active and unrestricted audiologist license in the state in which exams are performed.
- Must be either ASHA certified or have completed master's or doctorate level at ASHA certified program.
