We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Pharmacist II to join our team at the Center for Molecular Imaging & Therapy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing pharmacy services, managing quality programs, and participating in radiopharmaceutical research and development activities.
Key Responsibilities- Pharmacist-in-Charge of a Nuclear Pharmacy, responsible for distributing radiopharmaceuticals and overseeing quality control processes.
- Preparation and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals for human and non-human research uses, including clinical trials.
- Participation in manufacturing processes for radiopharmaceuticals and operation of cyclotron and automated radiochemistry synthesis devices.
- Maintenance of records and compliance with state and federal regulations for a radiopharmacy and quality program.
- Responsible for inventory maintenance and control, including procurement, use, and control of raw materials.
- Establishment and management of backup pharmacy services and personnel.
- Staff maintenance and training as relates to the pharmacy and quality program.
- Pharmacist Degree or equivalent degree required, with eligibility for licensure in the state of Louisiana.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience and adequate experience and training in nuclear pharmacy.
- Board Certification desirable, with P.E.T. radiopharmaceutical production and dispensing experience a plus.
