About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications using a variety of programming languages, including Ada, C++, and Python.
  • Write unit tests and integrate them into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation to ensure that our applications are well-documented and easy to use.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and government customers to understand their needs and develop software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Work in an Agile team environment, participating in iteration planning, feature development, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Participate in demos and sprint reviews to showcase our team's progress and achievements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field and 2 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 0 years of related experience.
  • Active Interim or Final Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with automated software requirements testing and analysis.
  • Experience with DevSecOps and Jenkins continuous integration/continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) automation.
  • Experience with Software Containerization and Orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Docker).
  • Unix/Linux Operating System Experience.
  • Ada Software Development experience or C++/Java/Software Development experience with a strong motivation to learn Ada.
  • Understanding of Modeling and Simulation.
Desired Skills
  • Experience using DevSecOps tools and methods (Jenkins, Ansible, Git/Gitlab).
  • Experience using Agile Project management tools (Jira/Confluence).
  • Experience in Product Owner or Scrum Master roles.
  • Experience developing Automation tools and test cases.
  • Highly experienced with Linux, scripting, and operations.
  • Prior experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs and/or systems.
