Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist III to join our team at Sharp HealthCare. As a key member of our Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures with a focus on quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist cardiologists with various procedures, including EP, ablation, and transseptal procedures.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures, ensuring proper sterile technique.
  • Monitor and document patient hemodynamic functions, taking appropriate action when outside of normal values.
  • Provide pre and post-procedure education to patients and families, ensuring clear understanding of procedures and instructions.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a formal invasive cardiovascular technology program.
  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist and electrophysiology.
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • ACLS Certification.
  • IV Certification.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
