Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Office-Based Role)
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 based on experience
Role Summary: This position is primarily office-based, where the individual will be responsible for entering project data into our CRM system derived from architectural plans and specifications. The candidate must possess the ability to interpret plan sets and utilize takeoff software, including AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate invitations to bid from various General Contractors for designated regions.
- Analyze blueprints and specifications to accurately input the complete scope of work into our tailored CRM platform.
- Conduct material and labor takeoffs using proprietary software.
- Develop and illustrate roofing details utilizing AutoCAD.
- Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) and communicate effectively with clients and their estimators.
- Stay informed about industry competitive advantages to enhance the bidding process.
- Address cost discrepancies through thorough data collection and analysis.
- Acquire precise quotes for materials and systems to ensure accurate cost estimations.
Qualifications:
- Strong grasp of fundamental construction principles.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and plans for commercial structures.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant construction experience preferred.
- Experience in performing material takeoffs.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
