The Albany Technical College is seeking a talented Instructor in Electronics Technology to join its faculty. As an Instructor in Electronics Technology, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology while inspiring students through hands-on, project-based learning.
The ideal candidate is a passionate educator with technical expertise in systems engineering and related fields, eager to inspire and guide students as they explore these disciplines. Responsibilities include developing and delivering engaging lectures, mentoring students through challenging projects, and contributing to the development of cutting-edge curricula.
You will create and maintain lab exercises, assignments, and projects that provide hands-on experience in designing, analyzing, and implementing complex engineering systems. This includes teaching and mentoring students through classroom lectures and practical lab sessions, providing personalized guidance and feedback.
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with education and work experience. The college offers paid state holidays, annual and sick leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits package.
As a member of the college's faculty, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow educators to ensure a cohesive and high-quality educational experience. You will also build relationships with industry partners to provide students with real-world insights, internship opportunities, and collaborative projects.
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Engineering and have three (3) years of work-related experience within the past seven (7) years. A PhD in Engineering and five (5) years of work-related experience within the past seven (7) years are preferred requirements.
