Clinical Nurse Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team at Virginia Jobs. As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting nursing professional practice through professional development, evidence-based practice, and unit-based quality improvement for one or more microsystems.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing, with 2 years of experience as a registered nurse working in a relevant practice area. A VA nursing license and CNL certification are also required.
Responsibilities:
- Professional Development: Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical processes and programs that engage nurses in lifelong learning to maintain competencies and learn new skills.
- Evidence-Based Practice (EBP): Provide ongoing assessment, evaluation, and prioritization of unit-based triggers that would benefit from an evidence-based approach to problem solving and practice change.
- Unit-Based Quality Improvement (QI): Collaborate with the UBL team to proactively and reactively address quality and safety concerns on the unit.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor nurses in ongoing clinical learning, continuing education, and national certifications.
Requirements:
- Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing
- 2 years of experience as a registered nurse working in a relevant practice area
- VA nursing license
- CNL certification
Estimated Salary Range: $89,523.20 - $143,228.80 per year
