Job Title: Clinical Research Associate I

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Associate I to join our research team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine experimental protocols and procedures to support the objectives of one or more laboratory research projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of routine laboratory tasks and procedures, including maintenance of reagents and stocking of supplies.
  • Assist with animal husbandry and maintain lab equipment and related records.
  • Transport, process, and log samples, and maintain computer database with relevant clinical information.
  • Perform lab maintenance duties, including glassware cleaning and sterilization, and maintain stocks of general lab materials.
  • Assist new students and fellows at the laboratory and observe and comply with safety standards and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in biological sciences.
  • Understanding of general research objectives and ability to offer technical support to keep projects moving forward.
  • Working knowledge of database management, personal computers, and presentations, and familiarity with routine laboratory procedures and experimental protocols.
  • Must possess computer skills to include, but not limited to, Excel and Word.
