About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Airline Passenger Transporter to join our team at Unavailable. As an Airline Passenger Transporter, you will be responsible for transporting passengers with mobility issues through the airport, ensuring their safe and efficient movement.

Job Description
  1. Push wheelchair passengers to and from gates, maintaining a friendly and positive attitude and always being attentive to each passenger's individual needs.
  2. Roland customer-occupied wheelchair safely down the jet bridge, ensuring wheel brakes are in place prior to allowing passengers to exit the wheelchair.
  3. Complete any necessary wheelchair or incident reports, following dispatcher gate orders and maintaining professional working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, managers, airline employees, and airport authorities.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to clear a background and drug screen, lift up to 75 lbs, and push a loaded wheelchair up to 300lbs up and down inclines throughout the shift.
  • Able to lift passengers from the wheelchair to the seat on the plane and maintain strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Experience in customer service preferred, with ability to obtain an airport badge.
Work Environment

The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, sit, reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, turn, stretch, and bend on a frequent basis.

Compensation
  • Salary: $16/hour + tips (estimated annual salary: $33,280).
