Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomist Supervisor to oversee phlebotomy functions and ensure the assigned team functions as a cohesive unit at LifeSouth Community Blood Centers.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual team collection goals
  • Oversee assigned team's donor collection functions, including recruitment and adherence to quality standards
  • Recruit, register, examine, and interview volunteer blood donors
  • Motivate and educate team members, establish and maintain positive team morale, and foster operational cooperation within the district and region
  • Ensure blood drives operate safely, smoothly, efficiently, and effectively
  • Display positive customer service skills to both internal and external customers

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet and maintain LifeSouth driver's eligibility requirements
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledgeable in a variety of computer software applications
