We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach undergraduate general education math courses at our Union campus. The ideal candidate will have experience in student-centered teaching methodologies and a strong background in mathematics education.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate general education math courses, including Basic Algebra, Statistics, Foundations of Math, and Problem Solving
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and success
- Lead supplemental learning instructional sessions with students as needed
- Provide at least one hour of availability outside of the classroom per week for each semester/session taught
- Master's degree in a related field or ABD, Ed.D., Ph.D., or other acceptable disciplinary doctorate
- Teaching experience and proficiency in a Learning Management System
- Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and university administrators
- Experience in student-centered teaching methodologies, such as small group instruction, flipped classroom design, cooperative, inquiry, and project-based learning
- Strong background in mathematics education and curriculum development
