We are actively seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Physiatrists to become part of our growing team in New Orleans. We welcome applications from candidates with prior experience as well as those fresh from fellowship training.
We are currently looking to fill the following specialties:
- Spine and Back Rehabilitation
- Inpatient Rehabilitation
- Pediatric Rehabilitation
- General Rehabilitation
Our expanding outpatient practice focuses on various rehabilitation services, including neurorehabilitation, general musculoskeletal care, and non-surgical pain management.
Our inpatient rehabilitation facility holds CARF certification in general rehabilitation and specializes in stroke recovery.
We have recently opened a state-of-the-art 125-bed Continuum Care Hospital, featuring dedicated floors for skilled nursing, long-term acute care, and a specialized Brain Injury unit, with 46 beds allocated for adult rehabilitation.
Additionally, we offer a unique 10-bed Continuum Care Pediatric Rehabilitation unit, the only one of its kind in the region.
As a Physiatrist, you will play a vital role in the education and training of residents and medical students, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.
Ochsner Rehabilitation is renowned for its expertise in neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation across both inpatient and outpatient environments.
Our Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation operates with a collaborative approach, closely integrated with our Neuroscience Institute, recognized as a Center of Excellence. Our areas of focus include gait disorders, spasticity, stroke recovery, spinal cord injuries, neurological diseases, and head injuries.
