Position Summary:
As an Overnight Security Officer, your primary duty will be to safeguard the well-being of all visitors and staff while overseeing the security of park facilities and attractions. You will be assigned to specific areas but must remain adaptable to patrol and monitor the park as necessary. Your role is vital in fostering a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure and lock all perimeter gates to protect guests and staff.
- Ensure the safety of all indoor areas within the park.
- Manage access for off-duty personnel, adhering to established security protocols.
- Monitor park assets to prevent theft and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on security systems to ensure they are operational.
- Perform hourly patrols to identify and address any safety issues.
- Enhance visibility and safety through proper lighting as needed.
- Respond to both emergency and non-emergency situations in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain open communication with management regarding the status of the premises.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities to uphold security.
- Document and monitor security activities to support safety efforts.
- Remain at assigned posts until relieved, demonstrating dedication to security protocols.
- Carry out maintenance tasks within the park as required to uphold high standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Security Guard Certification, showcasing knowledge of security practices.
- Effective communication skills for clear interactions with management.
- Ability to operate security equipment, including surveillance cameras and alarms.
- Experience in monitoring assets to prevent theft and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Capability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
