Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Engineering Project Leader to join our client's forward-thinking team in the gas turbine sector. This position will play a crucial role in a project aimed at pioneering new technologies for hydrogen-powered engines. The ideal candidate will oversee the development process, ensuring that project objectives are achieved while upholding the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide cross-disciplinary teams to achieve project objectives from inception to completion.
  • Oversee project scope, timeline, budget, and resources to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers during the prototype development phase.
  • Apply technical expertise to inform project decisions and resolve challenges.
  • Ensure that designs fulfill functional requirements and adhere to industry regulations.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and external collaborators.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in project management within engineering contexts.
  • Bachelor's degree in any engineering field.
  • Demonstrated success in managing intricate engineering projects, ideally related to engine technology.
  • Strong grasp of control systems, facilities engineering, and engine management systems.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adjust to evolving project needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with hydrogen or alternative energy solutions.
  • Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP).
  • Familiarity with Office 365.
  • Experience with CAD software and its application in engineering design.
