As an Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for setting up production equipment, collaborating with machine operators to identify and resolve issues, performing necessary repairs, and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Set up and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with machine operators to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent future problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Lockout Procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 4 years of mechanical experience in a high-speed packaging and/or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proven knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient equipment operation.
