Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team at Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions. As a Residential Withdrawal Management LPN, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and the Nurse Manager - Residential Withdrawal Management (RWM) to ensure the provision of safe and high-quality client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify the need for medical attention and alert the RN and/or medical provider of concerns.
  • Assist the RN as part of the admission process and provide nursing care throughout the client's stay.
  • Execute orders from the medical providers and tasks assigned by the RN, including medication administration, obtaining vitals, and utilizing validated withdrawal assessment tools, documenting all care in the electronic client record (ECR).
  • Perform point-of-care testing, including obtaining urine specimens, and arrange transport to the lab as ordered.
  • Ensure client care by providing support to the interdisciplinary team as needed, which includes coordinating care with outside providers and discharge planning.
  • Perform client teaching regarding medication, medical conditions, and healthful behaviors to enhance the client's health and well-being.
  • Complete all agency-required training and continuing education required for license.
Requirements
  • Prior psychiatric or addiction nursing experience is preferred.
  • One year of experience as an LPN and behavioral health experience is preferred.
Work Schedule

We are hiring for the following shifts:

  • Day Shift: Sunday - Tuesday, every other Wednesday.
  • Day Shift: Thursday - Saturday, every other Wednesday.
