About the Role

We're seeking an IT Client Platform Engineer to join our Client Platform Engineering team. You'll solve complex endpoint management problems and drive security and end-user experience for our End User Computing platform, bridging the gap between IT Operations, Enterprise Security, and corporate users across the globe.

In this role, you'll assist our Windows and macOS teams in delivering software at a global scale and support our IT Operations teams in troubleshooting complex user issues.

About the Team

You'll join a team of Client Platform Engineers that provide enterprise-level Client Platform services, development, support, and client enablement for end-users around the globe.

We strive to provide highly resilient and observable services to our teams, reducing manual toil wherever possible. We're focused on providing a positive customer service and user experience.

What You'll Do
  1. Solve endpoint management problems at a global scale
  2. Proactively solve end-user computing problems across a diverse fleet of devices
  3. Seek guidance from the team when needed
  4. Be flexible and available for after-hours support
  5. Assist the team with macOS, Windows, and Linux platform management
  6. Provide thoughtful feedback on asks and requirements for new projects
  7. Work collaboratively across geographical and team boundaries to solve problems
  8. Work in a team environment
  9. Create and update technical documentation
  10. Help make your team and cohort teams' lives better
What You'll Bring
  1. 1+ years of proven work experience in a systems administration role
  2. Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS management platforms
  3. Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell, Python, Golang, and/or Rust
  4. Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices management platforms, and software development best practices
  5. Ability to perform root cause analysis on issues and document and implement solutions
  6. Familiarity with multiple environment deployments
  7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  8. Ability to provide step-by-step technical guidance, both written and verbal
  9. BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field or equivalent experience
