We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. As a key member of our OR team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration.
- Maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Preferred experience: 1 year of OR experience or 1 year of RN experience
- $5,000 Sign on Bonus for New Grad Nurses
- $10,000 Sign on Bonus for Experienced Nurses
- Shift differential: $3.25 evenings, $4.00 nights, $4.00 weekends
