Denver Health Main Campus - Pavilion L is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Mammography Specialist, you will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms under the direction of a radiologist.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of technical imaging procedures that entail the application of ionizing radiation.
- Operate digital mammography equipment and technologies to produce high-quality images.
- Interact with our PACS system to maintain records of examinations and patient information.
- Assemble order requisitions and history sheets for radiologists and schedule breast diagnostic studies using Epic.
- Maintain a clean and orderly working environment and assist in the maintenance of department inventory.
- At least 1 year of professional work experience in performing breast screening and diagnostic procedures.
- Current certifications in BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) and RTM-RT Mammography.
- Ability to work a 4x10 Monday-Thursday schedule.
- Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program required.
