About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. As a member of our Interventional Radiology/Vascular Lab team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct organ or body scans on patients to assist with procedures and provide diagnostic aid.
  • Prepare and position patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor patient activity and report abnormal findings.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform specialized imaging procedures, including angio, complex vascular, and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech (CCI) or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) within 6 months of hire date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
